Destination Planning & Events

The core day-to-day function of the CHANT Program is simply delivering tour and event products to members
of the Heritage and Nature Tourism Markets Worldwide and providing ongoing product promotions and marketing
through a dynamic and interactive web site.

"Tourism Platform" Planning and Quality Control

CHANT Encourages the support and active participation by other members of the local Tourism Industry
(Public, Private and Non-Profit Sectors), in building Heritage and Nature Tourism on St. Croix.

As the Heritage and Nature Program for St. Croix becomes Popular, and more individuals seek to participate, the need for CHANT to maintain high standards of product quality and authenticity will increase.

Product Development & Provider "Start-up Support"

CHANT will focus its Product Provider Support on the "Start-up" phase of product/small business development. A Prover Product Development Start-up Kit has been been developed to facilitate outreach and support efforts in this area. This kit offers a userfriendly, step-by-step guide to becoming a CHANT Provider and features Product Development "Templates", a check-list based product design and development guide tailored to each of the various Hertiage & Nature product types.
